Members of the Nashville Fire Department have participated in over thirty-thousand hours of training since January 2002 in various areas of instruction including Firefighter I and II, Hazardous Materials, Driver/Operator, Rescue Technician, Fire Officer, and Emergency Medical Technician.

The Nashville Fire Department conducts Fire training on the first Monday night of each month, EMS Continuing Education training on the third Monday night of each month, and Technical Rescue training on the fourth Monday night of each month beginning at 7 pm.
